The Company is seeking a VP for Credit Risk Portfolio Management to join their Enterprise Credit Risk team. The successful candidate will be a senior member of the team, responsible for providing independent oversight and assessment of the firm's credit risk profile. This role involves overseeing portfolio risk across various lending activities, including commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate, leveraged finance, private banking, residential mortgages, and securities-based lending. The VP will be expected to combine deep credit expertise with advanced analytics, data visualization, and emerging technologies to enhance risk monitoring, reporting, and decision-making. Key responsibilities for the VP include developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide view of the firm's aggregate credit risk profile, monitoring portfolio performance, and conducting various risk assessments. The role also requires the ability to provide independent review and challenge of portfolio strategies, partner with executive leadership, and translate complex analytical findings into clear presentations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in credit risk management or a related area. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CRCM are preferred. The VP should be adept at portfolio risk analysis, data visualization, and have a proven track record of influencing stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
