Vice President of Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to spearhead the construction and expansion of its AI organization. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of recruiting and training AI talent, designing evaluation systems and career paths, and strengthening the AI organizational foundation across various business units. This role is pivotal in managing cross-functional organizations, sharing AI utilization and management know-how, and promoting AI talent recruitment both domestically and internationally. The VP of Engineering will also be responsible for developing mechanisms for AI recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training, and team collaboration, and will have the opportunity to lead domestic operations in a global AI company. Applicants for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have a background in direct commercial product development and operation, with a focus on LLM/AI agent functions. Experience in people and organizational management, as well as the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, fluent in Japanese and conversational in English. Preferred qualifications include experience in architecture design of LLM/AI systems, quality and operational design of LLM/AI functions, and management across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in agreement building and negotiation with management and overseas offices in English.
