Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the central point of contact and manager for all synagogue operations. The successful candidate will be a primary representative of the synagogue to members, prospective members, vendors, and the community at large. Key responsibilities include facilities management, financial oversight, and the effective administration of policies and procedures. The Executive Director will also support the clergy, provide direct supervision of non-clergy and educational staff, and be involved in long-term planning and strategy implementation. Personal attributes for this role include a basic knowledge of Jewish holidays, laws, and customs, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to maintaining professionalism and discretion. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be prepared to provide thoughtful leadership, maintain the Temple's annual calendar of events, and oversee the Temple's election process. The role also involves managing the Temple's security systems, hiring and supervising staff, and ensuring the Temple's facilities are in safe and operational condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in membership and programming, be adept at communication and IT, and have a strong background in fiscal and planning responsibilities.
