Vice President, In Vitro Scientific Operations
About the Role
Remote (anywhere in Pennsylvania)
The Company is seeking a Global VP of In Vitro Scientific Operations to lead and oversee its global in vitro operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality, decision-enabling data for oncology and immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all in vitro scientific operations across multiple sites, ensuring the consistent and high-quality execution of in vitro studies, and driving operational efficiencies through standardized workflows and continuous improvement initiatives. This role also involves overseeing global assay platforms, multi-site scientific teams, and operational strategy, as well as partnering with commercial, R&I, and cross-functional scientific groups to ensure operational reliability, scientific rigor, and client satisfaction. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years' experience in oncology or immunology preclinical research, with a deep expertise in in vitro assay platforms. The role requires a proven track record in CRO scientific operations, extensive experience in designing and executing mechanistic in vitro assays, and the ability to manage operational workflows and introduce new capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a history of successful client engagement. Preferred qualifications include experience in leading multi-site or global scientific operations, expertise in advanced in vitro technologies, and a strong background in commercial partnerships. The role demands a leader who can build a high-performance culture, provide strategic mentorship, and ensure the integration of scientific operations with project management, quality, and commercial teams.
