Head of Legal

The Company is in need of a Director of Legal to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner to executive leadership, providing broad legal support across the organization. This role requires a legal generalist with a strong background in intellectual property, commercial contracts, product compliance, and regulatory affairs. Key responsibilities include leading all legal matters related to intellectual property, drafting and managing a variety of commercial contracts, serving as the primary legal advisor on product compliance and regulatory issues, and developing and maintaining company-wide compliance programs. The Director of Legal will also be involved in advising on strategic business initiatives, managing litigation, and fostering a culture of ethics and compliance. Applicants for the Director of Legal position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, active bar membership in good standing, and at least 8 years of legal experience. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record as a legal generalist, particularly in supporting commercial business operations, and experience in advising cross-functional teams on legal and regulatory risk. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and business-minded professional, capable of partnering with various teams to assess and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
