Interim Trust-Wide Local Committee Chair (Board-level role)

The Company is in need of an Interim Trust-Wide Local Committee Chair to enhance governance, provide support to school leaders, and foster local capacity. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong local governance, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategic priorities, and upholding its values. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading TLC meetings, supporting school improvement, and building relationships with headteachers, TLC members, and Trust leaders. Additionally, the Interim TLC Chair will lead statutory panels and investigations as required, and their leadership will be instrumental in delivering excellent education and upholding the company's Christian values. The ideal candidate for the Interim TLC Chair position will have a background in school or academy governance, with experience as a governor, clerk, or governance professional. They should be adept at building positive relationships, communicating clearly, and offering constructive challenge in line with the company's values. The role requires a commitment to learning, the ability to manage TLC business effectively, and a strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
