Vice President, Cloud Engineering & Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Cloud Engineering and Operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic and enterprise-minded leader with a strong technical background, capable of engaging with both engineers and executive leadership. This role is pivotal in driving the organization's cloud transformation and modernization initiatives, ensuring the infrastructure and technology operations are secure, resilient, and aligned with business priorities. The Vice President will be responsible for leading a large-scale cloud transformation, balancing innovation with operational excellence, and managing the financial and risk aspects of technology operations. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive cloud engineering and operations strategy, leading the migration of enterprise workloads to modern cloud platforms, and establishing governance and standards for cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree and certifications preferred, and at least 15 years of technology experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role. Experience in a highly regulated and risk-sensitive environment, particularly in financial services, is essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience, as well as strong skills in talent development, financial management, and vendor stewardship.
