Associate Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

The Company is seeking an AVP Associate Chief Medical Officer to provide administrative oversight and assistance with the medical staff, physician recruitment, hospital operations, and clinical programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Team and system leadership to develop and advance the strategic goals of the hospital. This role involves providing leadership to the medical staff, supporting the selection and evaluation of medical directors, and ensuring the alignment of clinical and strategic goals. The AVP Associate Chief Medical Officer will also be involved in the development of clinical programs, and resource allocation, and will play a key role in maintaining the quality and safety of all hospital clinical programs. Candidates for this position must have an M.D. or D.O. degree, with a Master's degree in a related field preferred, and at least 5 years of experience in private practice management and/or hospital administration. A minimum of 1 year in medical staff leadership is required, with experience in Graduate Medical Education and previous CMO, ACMO, or medical director experience being advantageous. The role demands a professional with a strong background in industry standards, regulatory requirements, and a proven track record of cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, resourceful, and result-oriented, with the ability to think outside the box and be a quick learner.
