The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer to spearhead the development and management of its enterprise compliance program. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the Compliance Management System, ensuring it is robust and aligned with the organization's size, activities, and risk profile. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in banking compliance, capable of providing strategic guidance to executive leadership on regulatory matters, emerging risks, and compliance strategy. Key responsibilities include maintaining a forward-looking, risk-based approach to compliance, overseeing regulatory and examination management, and ensuring the integration of compliance considerations into all business activities. Applicants for the Chief Compliance Officer position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in banking compliance, risk, audit, legal, or regulatory affairs. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in enhancing compliance programs, managing regulatory examinations, and a deep understanding of consumer and banking compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in people leadership, be adept at translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions, and possess excellent communication skills. A background in a community or regional bank, experience in a growth or complex regulatory environment, and professional certifications in compliance or risk management are preferred.
