Vice President for University Advancement

The Company is seeking a Vice President for University Advancement to serve as its chief advancement officer and a key member of the President's Cabinet. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in all areas of advancement, including fundraising, donor engagement, alumni relations, and university communications. This role involves leading a comprehensive advancement strategy that aligns with the institution's mission and values, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and ensuring that advancement programs reflect and support the University's Christian identity. The Vice President will also be at the forefront of a multi-year comprehensive campaign, working closely with the President, Board of Trustees, and senior leadership to secure transformational philanthropic investments. Candidates for the Vice President position must have a strong Christian commitment and a proven track record in advancement, philanthropy, and fundraising. The role requires exceptional relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to inspire generosity and engage diverse constituencies. A collaborative leadership style and a passion for the mission of Christian higher education are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in Christian higher education or faith-based nonprofit organizations, experience in leading comprehensive campaigns, and knowledge of advancement services and fundraising analytics. A Bachelor's degree or advanced professional credential, along with at least seven years of successful leadership experience, is preferred.
