Vice President, Finance, Administration & Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance, Administration, and Operations. This executive will be responsible for the financial stewardship, operational excellence, and administrative effectiveness of the organization. Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership in all financial functions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, audit, and investment management, and ensuring strong internal controls and financial policies. The role also involves leading operational planning, performance measurement, and administrative systems, as well as playing a central role in Board and committee governance, human resources, and the evolution of systems to support a growing organization. The Vice President will be a critical architect of the future, combining financial and operational leadership with strategy and organizational development to support the Foundation's mission. The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience, and a strong background in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with a preference for healthcare, education, not-for-profit, or public sector experience. Core competencies include strategic financial leadership, operational excellence, human resources management, and a strong understanding of CRA charitable compliance and Ontario not-for-profit legislation. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in change management, digital transformation, and the ability to lead through growth and organizational change. The Vice President will work closely with the President & CEO, the Board of Directors, and various internal and external stakeholders, and must be adept at collaborative leadership, relationship management, and cross-functional integration.
