The Company is seeking a Vice President for Internal Audit in Global Markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and participating in the planning and execution of audits across various business functions. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance, as well as identifying areas of operational inefficiency, non-compliance, and risks. The role also involves conducting detailed testing and analysis of financial, operational, and business data, and preparing and presenting audit findings with actionable recommendations. The VP will work to ensure that audits align with the company's objectives and strategies, and will support the Head of Internal Audit in carrying out the annual audit plan and risk assessments. Applicants must be degree holders in business management, accounting, finance, or related disciplines, with a minimum of 8 years' of audit experience in financial institutions, particularly within the banking industry. A sound knowledge of corporate and commercial credit lending, credit management, and remedial processes, or global markets business and treasury operations, is essential. The role requires familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and possess good data analysis skills, with the ability to utilize automated tools being an advantage.
