Head of Risk & Governance

The Company is seeking a Head of Risk and Governance to join their team. This senior role is pivotal in the development and maturation of the group's risk and governance framework across various business areas. The successful candidate will have a broad remit, including enterprise risk, operational resilience, governance, third-party risk, and financial crime. Key responsibilities for the Head of Risk and Governance include leading the development of the group-wide risk and governance framework, developing risk strategy, appetite, registers, and reporting, and overseeing operational resilience activities. The role also involves maintaining risk MI and reporting, leading the third-party risk management approach, and owning the financial crime policy. The Head of Risk and Governance will be expected to provide risk advice, challenge across the business, and work closely with internal audit, compliance, and senior business stakeholders. Applicants for the Head of Risk and Governance position at the company should have significant experience in risk, ideally within the insurance sector, and a strong understanding of FCA regulation and regulated environments.
