About the Role
Greater London, United Kingdom Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its EMEA Project Finance Credit Risk team. This hands-on second-line credit role is pivotal in assessing and managing the risk associated with complex, high-profile real-assets financings across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for forming independent views on transaction risk, working closely with senior credit stakeholders, and engaging with front-office origination and portfolio-management teams. The role involves a broad range of sectors, including power and renewables, battery storage, water, transport, social infrastructure, digital infrastructure, natural resources, and selected real-estate financings. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include assessing new project-finance and infrastructure transactions, conducting annual reviews, and managing amendments and restructurings. The role also requires a deep dive into financial models, cash-flow forecasts, and various due diligence aspects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit risk, project finance, infrastructure finance, or real-assets debt, with a focus on cash-flow modeling and credit analysis. Direct experience in lender-side project finance, infrastructure debt, structured finance, or EMEA real-assets lending is particularly relevant. The Vice President will be expected to prepare clear credit papers, internal-rating recommendations, and presentations for senior approval, as well as to monitor an existing portfolio for emerging risks and provide constructive credit guidance to the team.
