The Company is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join their Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Data Management in the execution of data governance and control, with a focus on data storage and retention, data lineage, data privacy, and data quality requirements. This role involves collaboration with the global CIB team, and the Analyst will be expected to contribute to the implementation and compliance with global data policies, as well as provide guidance and support for continual improvements in data control roll-out. Key responsibilities for the role include supporting the delivery of group data strategy targets, maintaining delivery plans and trackers for CIB data controls, and providing status updates to key stakeholders. The Analyst will also be involved in implementing the data strategy, leveraging advanced tooling for automation opportunities, and sharing best practices globally. Technical competencies required for the position include a strong background in corporate and investment banking, experience in data management or technology risk/compliance, and familiarity with data tools and programming languages. Soft skills such as interpersonal skills, strong communication, critical thinking, and the ability to spot and execute improvement opportunities are also essential. A minimum of a graduation degree is required, and familiarity with AI-enabled tools is considered an advantage.
