Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership, providing strategic financial guidance and oversight of all financial functions, including finance, accounting, budgeting, cash and investment management, audit, credit-risk, and debt-financing. This role is pivotal in modernizing financial systems and processes, optimizing the structure and administration of the company's financing programs, and ensuring the sustainability of financial procedures and reporting practices. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished financial executive with a proven track record in change leadership, capable of leading the company's core accounting and public finance responsibilities while driving the advancement of financial technology and operations. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a comprehensive knowledge of financial management, budgeting, cash management, investments, internal controls, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of governmental accounting standards. The role requires the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models and provide clear recommendations to executive management. The CFO will also be responsible for leading a team of financial professionals, so demonstrated executive leadership and people management skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a valid Certified Public Accountant license.
