Vice President of Business Applications & Digital Transformation

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Applications and Digital Transformation to spearhead the modernization of its business systems, data environment, and enterprise application strategy. This high-visibility role involves assessing the current technology ecosystem, developing a long-term systems roadmap, and driving the enterprise-wide adoption of scalable technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the digital transformation process, partnering with various business units to improve processes, and establishing data governance standards. Hands-on experience in leading end-to-end technology initiatives, strong leadership support for modernization initiatives, and the potential to build and lead a team as the function grows are key aspects of this opportunity. The ideal candidate should have a background in real estate, REITs, hospitality, property management, asset management, or similar portfolio-driven industries, and experience with publicly-traded companies. The role requires a strategic leader who can build executive business cases, secure stakeholder alignment, and create reporting and analytics strategies to enhance decision-making. The Vice President will also be instrumental in building the foundation for a future business systems team and must be adept at collaborating with IT leadership while maintaining a business-focused perspective. This is a hands-on position that demands a proactive approach to identifying system gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation, as well as the ability to evaluate, select, and implement new software solutions and technology partners.
