Chief Information Officer (CIO), Digital Transformation

The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Digital Transformation to serve as a trusted advisor on innovative technology strategy and its impact on the college. The successful candidate will lead both strategic and tactical activities, ensuring the alignment of technology with the institution's strategic plan. This role requires the ability to challenge conventional thinking, promote transformation, and maintain a high level of professionalism in collaboration with the President and executive leadership. The CIO will be responsible for driving technology change, implementing a modern governance process, and managing technology projects to support the institution's goals. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the IT field, with a focus on leading IT strategic initiatives in a higher education environment. The role demands a candidate with a broad knowledge of higher education, current technology trends, and experience with administrative and academic computing solutions. Excellent communication, influencing, and advising skills are essential, as is the ability to build and sustain positive relationships within the college community. The CIO will also be expected to stay informed about emerging issues in higher education and to serve as an industry and customer expert within the company. A background that includes serving on campus executive leadership teams, particularly with the President, is highly valued.
