Managing Director, Data Management

The Company is in search of a Managing Director to lead its Data Management organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and executing the enterprise data management strategy, leading data operations, and advancing data governance and quality. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker who is also willing to engage in the operational details. The Managing Director will work across various teams to establish how data is organized, governed, and made available for both internal and external use. Key responsibilities include establishing operating models, standards, and capabilities for managing data as a strategic asset, as well as partnering with business leadership to identify opportunities for commercializing data assets. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should be entrepreneurial and pragmatic leaders with a strong background in data management, data strategy, and related disciplines. A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, is required, along with at least 15 years in the field. The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience, particularly in data-intensive industries, and a proven track record of establishing enterprise data governance and quality programs. Experience in a regulated environment and with modern data platforms is essential. The role demands an individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a talent for translating enterprise objectives into a clear data strategy. Experience in preparing data for advanced analytical use cases, such as AI and machine learning, is a plus.
