Vice President of Distribution

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Distribution to lead and optimize all transportation and logistics operations across multiple warehouses. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the P&L reports of these locations, setting and executing strategies to meet customer demand, and ensuring the rapid and efficient movement of goods. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and the ability to work with a large team to meet operational goals. Applicants for the Vice President of Distribution position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years' experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential skills include in-depth knowledge of P&L, the ability to analyze performance, and experience in coaching employees to enhance customer service and productivity. The role also involves managing safety, responding to issues, and taking a proactive approach to labor relations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Department of Transportation regulations, be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to facilitate communication and drive progress towards logistics goals.
