Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting and representing the Head Start and Early Head Start community. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader, responsible for the overall strategic direction, management, and operational excellence of the organization. This role involves setting and executing the organization's strategic vision in partnership with the Board of Directors, leading organizational planning, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact services. The Executive Director will also be the primary spokesperson, overseeing communication strategies, and will be expected to strengthen community and peer networks, elevate the value of the comprehensive services model, and position the organization as a trusted voice for children, families, and early childhood professionals. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5-7 years of senior leadership experience, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization. The role requires a deep commitment to equity, community impact, and early childhood education, as well as strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build partnerships and influence diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial and operational leadership, experience working with a Board of Directors, and a track record of fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture. Responsibilities also include business and operational management, with a focus on financial sustainability, and the ability to identify and develop new revenue opportunities.
