The Company is seeking a VP of Forward Planning to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team involved in the entitlement, contracting, and site development of communities. This role requires a strategic leader who can formulate and direct forward planning to ensure the successful execution of community design and approvals. The VP will also be involved in assisting the Land Acquisition team in analyzing land opportunities, particularly in relation to infrastructure needs, environmental issues, and site feasibility. Key responsibilities include due diligence, entitlements, and project management, as well as overseeing site construction and purchasing activities. Applicants for the VP of Forward Planning position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5-7 years' related experience, including home building. Advanced PC skills, the ability to read and evaluate civil engineering and development plans, and strong communication skills are essential. The role demands a detail-oriented, problem-solving individual with the ability to handle complex situations, resolve conflicts, and build and motivate effective teams. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. The VP will be expected to work in a construction environment and be prepared for physical and office/site presence requirements.
