The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting to play a pivotal role in leading the accounting function during a phase of significant growth, transformation, and acquisition activity. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, and revenue recognition. This role involves leading the month/quarter/year-end close process, preparing GAAP financial statements, and navigating complex technical accounting areas such as acquisition accounting, joint ventures, and investment structures. The VP of Accounting will also be instrumental in designing and maintaining internal controls, leading an ERP upgrade, and developing a 6-person accounting team. Applicants for the VP of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting leadership experience is required, with a strong preference for those with prior experience in acquisition and purchase accounting.
