The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, UDO Data & AI Governance Specialist, Tech Chief Operating Officer (COO), Group Technology to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the 1.5 line of defense, focusing on delivering data management initiatives that are essential for the company's vision of being a leading financial institution in Asia. This includes designing and implementing a robust governance operational model, driving data quality outcomes, and monitoring data and AI risks. The role also involves providing advisory support for the adoption of tech policies, standards, and controls, as well as assisting in the usage of enterprise data tools to ensure policy compliance. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and over 6 years' of experience in data governance, management, or risk management, preferably within a large, complex organization. A strong understanding of the banking business and experience in data quality management, metadata management, and data security is essential. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in establishing and implementing data governance operating models, driving policy adoption, and overseeing risk frameworks. Experience in a regional role, managing multiple stakeholders, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are also key requirements. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a regulated, matrixed environment and will be responsible for ensuring compliance and audit readiness at the unit level.
