About the Role
Greater Singapore, Singapore Area
The Company is seeking an Interest Rate Strategist to join its Global Economics & Markets Research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling, forecasting, and conducting in-depth research and analysis of interest rates. This includes crafting forecasting models based on central bank monetary policy outlook, producing regular point forecasts for key interest rate benchmarks, and writing various reports on interest rate and yield outlook. The role also involves contributing to ad hoc analysis during market-moving events and requires a strong quantitative modeling background with proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, the Interest Rate Strategist will be expected to have strong advisory, communication, and presentation skills. This includes engaging with both internal stakeholders and external clients, supporting relationship managers and sales teams, and acting as a key ambassador for the company on interest rate matters. The role may also involve media engagements and requires a candidate with a proactive and dynamic approach to client and industry interactions. A background in fixed income markets and credit research is a plus, and the candidate should have at least 3-5 years' of experience in a similar role, with a preference for a major in economics or quantitative finance.
