The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Special Loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team that handles complex and high-risk special loan accounts, including those in default, modifications, or requiring special attention. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely adjustment of ARM loans, as well as adherence to regulatory and company procedures. The AVP will also be involved in the verification of data, processing of ARM loans, and managing the workflow to meet service-levels at all levels. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in special loans and 5 years in the mortgage servicing industry. A strong background in ARM, DSI, Step Rate, SCRA, HELOC, and other unconventional loan products is essential, with at least 3 years of experience in this area. The role requires previous experience in people management, a fast-paced work environment, and a proven track record in project management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to foster a positive and engaging work environment. A client-focused, results-oriented approach, and the ability to effectively manage through change are also key attributes for this position.
