Head of Planning

The Company is seeking a Head of Planning to lead a dynamic team in the successful implementation of diverse new construction and renovation projects across residential, commercial, and public sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and technical leadership of a planning team, ensuring the design and technical quality of projects, and managing the team in demanding construction projects. This role requires a strong focus on compliance with building regulations, standards, and processes, as well as effective communication with clients, authorities, and expert committees. The Head of Planning will also be involved in the development of early project phases up to the point of permit approval, and will be expected to coordinate specialist planners and experts in a solution-oriented and cost-efficient manner. Applicants for the Head of Planning position at the company should have a degree in architecture, with additional training in project management highly desirable. A background in project management, particularly in various project phases, and familiarity with Swiss and Zurich building law is essential. The role demands a candidate who is fluent in German, with good English and/or French skills being an advantage, and who is proficient in MS Office programs, ArchiCAD, BIM, and ideally also Solibri and Adobe InDesign. The ideal candidate will be a communicative, solution-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and a proven track record in project organization, management, and a strong awareness of costs and quality.
