The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the regional legal strategy, advising on key legal, regulatory, governance, compliance, and risk management matters, and supporting the company's growth initiatives, including market entry strategies, expansion projects, and strategic partnerships. The role also involves leading the legal aspects of complex commercial negotiations, overseeing corporate governance, and managing external legal counsel. The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience in digital infrastructure, technology, or related sectors. Applicants for the Head of Legal position at the company should have approximately 10-20+ years' of PQE, with a background in leading international law firms or sophisticated multinational organizations. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of advising senior executives and boards on strategic business matters, strong leadership capabilities, and experience in building and managing legal teams. A commercial mindset, the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives, and experience in complex negotiations and cross-border projects are essential.
