Senior Vice President, CMC & Technical Operations

Remote (anywhere in Maryland)
The Company is seeking a Head of CMC and Technical Operations to join their team during a pivotal phase of organizational and pipeline expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the overall CMC strategy, ensuring that development timelines are in line with clinical and business objectives. This role involves providing leadership across key technical functions, guiding CMC activities through the development lifecycle, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and cGMP standards. The Head of CMC and Technical Operations will also be instrumental in senior leadership for regulatory strategy, submissions, and interactions with health authorities, as well as in the recruitment, development, and mentorship of technical leaders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, with approximately 20 years' experience in biopharmaceutical development, CMC, manufacturing, and/or technical operations. A background in leading CMC activities for complex biologic products or technically demanding manufacturing platforms is preferred, particularly in the context of C>. The role requires a broad technical understanding across various areas, the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, and experience in developing CMC strategies for different phases of clinical development. Meaningful experience with regulatory submissions and a proven track record in advancing programs from IND-enabling development to successful commercial launch are highly valued.
