The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Corporate Communications to lead the development and execution of a global strategy that aligns with the organization's mission of transforming the lives of patients. This senior leadership role is pivotal in crafting and delivering powerful, consistent narratives that enhance the company's reputation across all key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry, capable of translating complex scientific and R&D milestones into clear, impactful messages. Responsibilities include strategic leadership, executive and employee communications, brand and corporate reputation management, media relations, and digital communications. The role demands a seasoned professional with at least 15 years' experience, including significant leadership tenure, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in communications, English, or a related field, with an advanced degree strongly preferred. The role requires a candidate with exceptional executive presence, outstanding communication skills, and a deep understanding of integrated communications programs. The ideal candidate will have a history of being a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, particularly in the context of significant organizational change. Experience in leading communications through M&A, crisis, and business transformation within a public company is essential. The role also involves team and agency management, so the ability to build and lead high-performing teams and manage external partnerships is crucial. Success in this position will be measured by a cohesive corporate narrative, an engaged employee base, an elevated corporate brand, and a high-performing communications function that is an indispensable strategic partner to the business.
