The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead one of its container terminals in Spain. The successful candidate will be the top executive, responsible for the terminal's safety, profitability, and growth. This role demands a leader who can deliver efficient, high-quality operations for both customers and shareholders, and who is adept at building world-class operational, engineering, technical, and procurement capabilities. The CEO will be accountable for defining and executing the terminal's strategy, making investment decisions, and driving continuous improvement in productivity and cost management. Additionally, the role involves representing the company with government, regulators, and local communities, as well as overseeing all aspects of the terminal's business, from staffing to risk management. Applicants for the CEO position must have a Master's degree or equivalent, with an MBA or advanced management degree being highly desirable. A strong background in senior executive roles within container terminal operations, a deep knowledge of marine terminal operations, and a proven track record in the shipping and logistics industry are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of corporate finance, be fluent in Spanish, and have advanced English language skills. Key qualifications include sound business judgment, strong influencing and conflict-resolution skills, and a collaborative leadership style. The CEO will also be expected to have excellent planning, organizing, and people-management skills, and the ability to build trust with various stakeholders.
