Job Description
We’re looking for a Full Stack Javascript Intern who wants to work at an agile startup that’s leveraging advanced technology to power a unique service and help create a highly monetizable and impactful business. You’ll be working closely with our locally-based engineering & product team to ensure a high-quality service for our highly engaged members.
ExecThread’s product offering is currently built using Node.js, MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, and React. We’re searching for a Full Stack Javascript Intern to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be be working directly with our senior engineers to add new features, fix bugs, and flesh out devops infrastructure for weekly releases to improve user satisfaction. You’ll also will be learning best practices of how to architect, design, and develop a product.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development of new features and assessing devops infrastructure for weekly releases to improve user satisfaction
- Resolve bugs and issues reported by the team and users
- Participate in projects that will help you learn best practices of how to architect, design, and develop a product
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of JavaScript
- Familiarity with Node.js, AngularJS, or React
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
- Interest, willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages as necessary
- Ability to work with a great deal of autonomy, as well as in a team environment
- An active Github account is required
**Note: This will be a paid internship that will last ~3 months before a potential full-time job offer is made (contingent upon the performance of the developer intern during his/her first three months). Please note that we are only considering interns with active Github accounts and who have either recently graduated or who will be graduating in May/June of 2017.
