About the Role
With a robust & scalable platform already in-place, there are plenty of innovation and optimization opportunities ahead for a Full Stack Software Developer to make a meaningful impact.
The Full Stack Software Developer will work with the Engineering & Product teams to build new features, and expand and extend platform functionality, and in doing so will also help to define Technical Specifications for new projects, and consult with the other team members to help define solutions.
The Full Stack Software Developer will be responsible for helping architect, develop, and deploy scalable applications using technologies such as MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, React, Node and AWS.
Qualifications
- 5-12 years of software development experience
- Experience writing code to automate monitoring ME(A/R)N and managing deployments
- Experience with Node.js and Express
- Experience with setting up & maintaining APIs
- Hands-on experience working with Git
- Experience with maintaining & scaling AWS cloud infrastructure (preferred, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of microservices & distributed application architecture such as containers / Docker; and ability to automate CI/CD pipelines (preferred, but not required)
- Prior start-up experience (preferred, but not required)
This is a heavy part-time contracting position working between 20-30 hours per week.
