Deputy Head of Operations, Securities Operations

The Company is in search of a strategic Deputy Head of Operations for its Securities Operations. This leadership role is essential for driving operational excellence in securities settlement, corporate actions, and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations, supervising a team of 15 professionals, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of trades and corporate actions across multiple markets. Collaboration with front office, risk, compliance, and IT teams is key to streamlining workflows, and the role also involves driving operational improvements, automation initiatives, and monitoring regulatory changes to ensure compliance with local and international standards. To excel in this position, a minimum of 10 years' experience in securities operations, particularly in clearing and settlements with a strong background in FICC and equity derivatives, is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' proven leadership and people management experience, an in-depth understanding of settlement cycles, clearing processes, and corporate action handling, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is also necessary.
