Vice President, Finance and Treasury

The Company is in search of a VP, Finance and Treasury to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial information to both internal and external stakeholders. This includes the preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory filings in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. The role also involves performing variance analysis, providing commentary on financial performance, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and policies. The VP will be expected to have a strong background in accounting, finance, or audit, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in investment banks or securities, and a solid understanding of investment products. Applicants for the VP, Finance and Treasury position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A teamwork mindset and a willingness to learn and develop are essential. The role requires the ability to identify and implement process improvements, as well as to coordinate with external auditors during audit engagements. Experience in ad-hoc finance project responsibilities is also necessary. Candidates with a background in Big 4 audit firms will be considered.
