Head of Compliance

The Company is in search of a Head of Compliance to spearhead its regional compliance function. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring that the firm's operations in Singapore are in full compliance with local regulatory standards. This pivotal role involves serving as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, providing expert guidance on relevant laws and regulations, and designing and maintaining robust compliance frameworks. The Head of Compliance will also be responsible for leading regulatory inspections, staying abreast of industry developments, and proactively assessing their impact on the business. Applicants for the Head of Compliance position at the company should have a proven track record in a compliance leadership role within a MAS-regulated financial institution, exchange, or regulatory body. In-depth knowledge of Singapore's regulatory landscape, particularly the SFA and related MAS guidelines, is essential. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to compliance. Technological proficiency, strong organizational and project management capabilities, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are also key qualifications for this position.
