Vice President, Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee and support all business aspects, including production, maintenance, engineering, purchasing, shipping/logistics, and EH&S. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading site leader direct reports, driving continuous improvement efforts, and developing capital projects for plant and automation upgrades. This role also involves participating in the formulation and administration of company policies, as well as the development of long-range goals and objectives. The VP of Operations will work closely with the EH&S Management System to ensure compliance with job procedures and environmental work instructions, and will be instrumental in establishing and meeting annual budgets and cost reduction goals. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a management role, or equivalent experience. A background in plant manufacturing is required, with a preference for those with food and beverage experience. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience running a manufacturing plant with high mix product lines and hands-on experience in implementing Lean principles. Global footprint experience is also a key requirement.
