The Company is seeking a Head of People Operations to build and lead its people function. The role owns the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance and promotion processes, employee relations, and offboarding. Responsibilities include establishing people policies and compensation frameworks, managing global employment arrangements, and ensuring employment compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The Head of People Operations will also develop the HR technology stack and advise leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and culture. Candidates should have broad people operations experience and a track record of building or significantly growing an HR function, ideally as the first or sole HR professional at a startup. They should be experienced in full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and performance management, as well as global employment through employer-of-record arrangements and multi-jurisdictional compliance. Strong policy-writing, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while building processes from the ground up are essential. Familiarity with Dutch employment regulations and the European labor market is also valuable.
