Vice President, Product Strategy & Development Greater Austin, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Product Strategy & Development to lead the strategy, structuring, validation, and development of financial products for wealth management and self-directed investor markets. The role involves identifying market needs, assessing opportunities, designing differentiated solutions, and validating demand with distribution partners. The successful candidate will own product development from concept through approval and launch, coordinating execution across relevant functions. They will also develop business cases and recommendations for senior leaders and use data and emerging technologies, including responsible AI, to improve product insights and development processes. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant financial services experience, with expertise in product strategy, structuring, development, or commercialization. Deep knowledge of annuity and retirement products, capital markets, investment structures, derivatives, financial guarantees, risk management, and wealth distribution is required. Applicants should have a record of launching complex financial products, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required; CFA or actuarial credentials, or an advanced degree, are preferred.
