Head of Audit

The Company is seeking a Head of Audit to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the firm's audit function, managing a diverse portfolio, and overseeing a team of audit professionals. This senior role involves taking ownership of the audit process from planning to completion, maintaining strong client relationships, and providing technical guidance on complex audit work. The Head of Audit will also work closely with the Partners and senior leadership to develop the strategic direction of the audit offering and will be expected to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and new client relationships. Applicants for the Head of Audit position at the company should be ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' of post-qualification experience, and have a strong background in external audit within a practice setting. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication, relationship management, and leadership skills, who is commercially minded and can demonstrate the ability to manage audit teams and client portfolios effectively.
