Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the finance function, providing strategic financial leadership, and supporting the business in decision-making and performance. This role is pivotal in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial commentary, KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning. The Head of Finance will also oversee financial controls, group reporting, audit processes, and statutory accounts preparation. A key aspect of the role is managing a high-performing finance team, driving ERP improvements, and process automation initiatives, and supporting major projects and stakeholder engagement. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should be qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountants with a strong background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, technology, or project-led environments. The role requires a candidate with proven experience in financial management, technical accounting, and commercial acumen. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential, and experience with ERP systems is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing and developing finance teams, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative business. Exposure to grant funding, project accounting, R&D environments, or multi-entity reporting is advantageous.
