The Company is seeking an MD, Global Head of Derived Data to lead the strategic vision and operating model for its benchmark and index datasets. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving data quality, and modernization, and championing AI-enabled capabilities to enhance the efficiency and scale of the data business. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing the global strategy for client and benchmark data, ensuring it aligns with the company's private markets and technology priorities. Key responsibilities include providing executive oversight of data quality, governance, and scalability, as well as leading and managing a global organization to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and client focus. The role also involves partnering with product, technology, and client teams to deliver market-leading data solutions and services. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 20 years' experience in financial data, private markets, benchmarks, analytics, or related data businesses, with a proven track record of leading large-scale global data organizations. A deep understanding of private markets, institutional investors, and data-driven products is essential. The role requires strong strategic, commercial, and operational leadership capabilities, as well as exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in partnering across various functions to drive change and innovation, and will be expected to ensure strong risk management, governance, and controls for a global institutional data business. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree.
