Interim Head of Finance Systems & Change Greater Birmingham, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance Systems & Change to lead its integrated Finance change portfolio. The role will clarify priorities, dependencies, capacity, risks, and outcomes, while translating Finance strategy into practical delivery plans. Responsibilities include improving resource allocation and portfolio transparency, strengthening planning, governance, readiness, testing, and assurance, and coordinating change across Finance and Technology. The successful candidate will also develop programme, project, and business analysis capabilities and drive continuous improvement through effective use of data, automation, and AI. Candidates should bring significant senior leadership experience in transformation, change, or portfolio delivery, including leading complex cross-functional initiatives. Strong skills in portfolio and dependency management, prioritisation, operating model development, stakeholder influence, and team building are required. Applicants should also have deep knowledge of Treasury and/or Finance reporting platforms, related data flows and controls, and regulatory reporting expectations. The role calls for sound judgement and the ability to connect strategic priorities with effective execution in a complex environment.
