Head of Corporate Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Corporate Finance to lead corporate finance work within an economic regulation environment. The role includes advising on financial structures, resilience, incentives, hedging, and cost-of-capital matters, while developing broader corporate finance strategy. The successful candidate will engage with external advisers and stakeholders, contribute to transaction and credit-rating work, and conduct ongoing financial resilience monitoring. They will also support financial modelling, analyze scenarios, and provide corporate and regulatory finance advice to colleagues. Candidates should have experience in a corporate finance role and a strong understanding of corporate finance issues within an economic regulation regime. They must be able to analyze complex financial data, draw robust conclusions, and produce clear reports and presentations for varied audiences. Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills are essential. A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another related numerical field—or an equivalent finance or accountancy qualification—is required.
