Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to provide strategic and operational leadership of its finance function and support strong governance. The role includes delivering timely financial reporting and operational metrics to senior leadership and trustees, preparing annual budgets and regular forecasts, and strengthening financial understanding across the organization. The successful candidate will lead the production of statutory accounts and coordinate audits, while improving finance systems, reporting processes, and controls. They will also develop the finance function and manage its staff and outsourced services. Candidates should have significant financial leadership experience in a medium-sized charity or nonprofit organization and hold a recognized professional accountancy qualification. They should bring a forward-looking approach and knowledge of planning and analytics tools that support financial sustainability. A strong understanding of charity and corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance is required, along with experience implementing effective financial systems, controls, and processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging diverse audiences.
