Chief Operating Officer (COO), Electrical Construction

The Company is seeking a senior executive to lead operations and project delivery for a large electrical construction business, with the potential to transition into the CEO role. Responsibilities include overseeing major projects, business development and client relationships, estimating, preconstruction, and financial performance. The executive will shape growth strategy and leadership structure, mentor employees and emerging leaders, and guide succession while preserving the organization’s established culture. The role also calls for strengthening the business while supporting sustainable growth across its markets. Candidates should have senior leadership experience with an electrical contractor or subcontractor, such as at the VP, General Manager, COO, President, or C-suite level. Strong knowledge of the regional electrical construction market and experience overseeing operations, estimating, business development, and financial performance are required. Established relationships with general contractors and customers, along with strong commercial, technical, and people leadership skills, are important. Field experience in electrical construction and a record of developing teams and delivering sustainable growth are preferred.
