Vice President, Master Data Management Greater Boston, MA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Master Data Management to lead an enterprise-wide data transformation. The role will define the MDM strategy, operating model, architecture, and delivery roadmap, beginning with party data and expanding to other master and reference data domains. Responsibilities include establishing data governance and quality controls, guiding platform implementation and integration, and ensuring trusted data supports business operations and reporting. The Vice President will build and lead a multidisciplinary team, manage vendors and implementation partners, and communicate progress, risks, and measurable outcomes to senior leadership. Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience in data management, architecture, or engineering, including eight or more years leading enterprise MDM programs. Required expertise includes delivering large-scale party or customer MDM implementations, identity resolution, hierarchy management, survivorship, data governance, data quality, and reference data management. Applicants should have hands-on experience with MDM platforms and modern cloud data platforms, along with a record of leading teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and connecting data initiatives to business outcomes. Experience in insurance or financial services, global organizations, and applying AI or machine learning to data quality is preferred.
