Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing

The Company is seeking a Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing to lead its health, safety, and wellbeing agenda within a complex organization. The role involves developing and delivering a strategy, strengthening governance and risk management, and promoting a positive culture across teaching, research, and operational settings. The successful candidate will lead a professional team, advise senior leaders, oversee compliance and investigations, and collaborate with colleagues to support physical and psychological wellbeing. Candidates should bring significant senior leadership experience in a complex organization, strong communication and influencing skills, and a record of delivering improvement. A degree or equivalent professional qualification and a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent are required. Chartered IOSH membership, or the ability to achieve it shortly, is also essential; experience in higher education is desirable.
