Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance, accounting, controlling, and treasury activities and support the organization’s long-term financial direction. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax rules, and statutory reporting requirements; preparing budgets, forecasts, and management reports; and analyzing profitability, costs, cash flow, and asset utilization. The CFO will oversee fleet financing, leasing, investment and replacement planning, working capital, credit control, and customer payment terms. The role also involves managing relationships with external financial and regulatory partners and supporting pricing and tender decisions with cost and margin analysis. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in road transport, trucking, or logistics in Hungary, along with at least five years in a CFO or equivalent senior finance leadership role. A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is required; professional accounting qualifications are an advantage. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of Hungarian accounting, tax, and labor regulations, strong IFRS reporting expertise, and experience with asset-intensive operations, fleet financing, and leasing. Excellent written and spoken Hungarian and English, strong leadership, and a hands-on, pragmatic approach are required; experience with SAP is highly desirable.
