Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead all aspects of club operations and guide the organization through its transition to member governance. The COO will oversee departments, staff, performance, and resources while working closely with the Board to shape strategy, strengthen the management team, and improve member and guest experiences. Key priorities include assessing staffing and organizational structure, establishing clear service standards and accountability, improving member communications, and advancing capital projects. The role also calls for building a welcoming, high-performing service culture and aligning the interests of diverse member groups. Candidates should bring 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager or COO at a high-performing private club, though rising industry leaders and accomplished luxury hospitality executives may also be considered. Strong financial acumen, team-building and mentoring ability, and experience in food and beverage, member relations, strategic planning, and large-scale capital projects are important. Excellent communication, diplomacy, organization, and hospitality skills are required, along with the ability to lead change and earn trust across varied constituencies. A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, is preferred; substantial relevant experience may substitute, and industry certifications are encouraged but not required.
